Diana Elizabeth Garrett
Diana Elizabeth Garrett was born on Sept. 3, 1952, in Baltimore, Md., and was raised by her loving parents Joe and Ruby Arrington. Diana Garrett graduated in 1970 from San Fernando High School. She married Robert Garrett on August 12th, 1972. In this union there were seven children. Diana Garrett worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for 8 years; Vickers LA for 12 years. She later relocated to Americus, GA where she worked for Lockheed Martin for 4 years. When she returned to California, she worked at Target in Valencia, CA. Diana Garrett made the truth her own and dedicated herself to serve Jehovah on June 16th, 2007. Diana enjoyed sharing scriptures such as Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him. And he will make your paths straight." Another one she would share often was John 5:28 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice." Diana loved her family, friends, and the beautiful display of nature. She always lived by the phrase "Ask not of what you can do for me, but rather what can I do for you." Diana is survived by two daughters; Katina and Thea Garrett; four stepchildren: Rodney, Stephanie, James Garrett and Cassandra Tims; four brothers: Kirk Arrington, Quintin Arrington, Henry Arrington and Lawrence Wallace; one sister: Joelett Arrington; five grandchildren: Renee Erwing, Marquis Green, DaJohn Garrett, Juwan Ynestroza, and Samantha Garrett; one great-grandchild: Chaston Green. Also: dedicated friends Jackie Johnson, Betty Wynn, and Louise Green; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and a multitude of spiritual brothers and sisters. Diana was preceded in death by her husband Robert Garrett; daughter Lartrenna Erwing (Arrington); mother Ruby Arrington; sister Sabrina Arrington; brothers Joe Arrington Jr., Ricky Arrington, Michael Arrington; grandmother Maxine Price and "Father" Lawrence Wallace. We will miss her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, words of wisdom, and her unique sweet fragrance.
