It looks like Roy is pulling up the rear as one of the stunt players — either Duke Green, Henry Rowland or Ken Terrell — falls from his horse in 1950's "Bells of Coronado" from Republic Pictures. Never mind Dale Evans, who gets no mention on this original 11x14 lobby card (No. 7 of 8) even though she does her share of the crooning with the Riders of the Purple Sage — this picture stars Roy Rogers, "King of the Cowboys," and Trigger, the "Smartest Horse in the Movies." "Bells of Coronado" filmed on location at the Sable Ranch at Sand and Placerita Canyon roads, as well as the Littlerock Dam in Pearblossom and other parts of the Santa Clarita and Antelope valleys. Read what this picture is about here. Above-the-line cast also includes Pat Brady, Grant Withers, Leo Cleary, Clifton Young, Robert Bice, Stuart Randall, John Hamilton, Edmund Cobb, Eddie Lee, Rex Lease, Lane Bradford and Foy Willing. Uncredited cast includes Duke Green, Jack Low, Post Park, Loren Riebe, Henry Rowland, Ken Terrell, and the Riders: George Bamby (fiddle), Darol Rice and Al Sloey (concertina). Lobby card distributed by Independent Poster Exchange, 1323 Vine Street, Philadelphia 7.
